Experience the grace and elegance of ballet with our Ballet Technique class at Stunning-Dance Studio. Intermediate to Advanced levels are a continual study of fundamentals, extended to emotional expression and precision, as well as developing fluid artistic control. Ballet is the basis of all other dance forms and can strongly enhance any athletic activity. We strongly encourage that ballet be taken in conjunction with any other dance class.Our experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamental movements and techniques of ballet, while also challenging you to push yourself to new limits. Ballet • Pre-Ballet – Lavender leotard • Beginner Ballet – Ballet Pink Leotard • Beginner Ballet Level 1 – Light Blue Leotard • Level 2 – Burgundy Leotard • Level 3 – Royal Blue Leotard • Level 4 – Navy Blue Leotard • Level 5 Ballet – Black Leotard • Adult Ballet (any color leotard) unless in Dance Company then follow levels. • Boys: BOYS: Stunning Dance Studio shirt or any white, plain shirt and black pants/leggings. Ballet shoes should be worn snug, with ties tucked in at all times. Ballet is the only class that requires a leotard and pink tights, (skirts/dresses/tutus are optional). Pink Ballet shoes should be worn for girls and Black for boys with full leather soles till Level 1 ballet. Leather soles help develop and strengthen the muscles in the feet correctly. Upper levels may wear split soled shoes in canvas. All other classes require regular dance attire and can be worn in any color. Hair should be up and away from face. A Ballet bun is required for Ballet classes unless hair is short in which case it should be neatly out of the eyes. Ballet sweaters may be worn in the winter months.
