This Adult Beginning Ballet class is a one hour class and begins with a simple, somatically-inspired barre, oriented towards pleasure and ease. Center work extends the dancing exploration through space. This class is suitable for beginning, returning dancers or those wanting a slower pace for the exploration of ballet technique. This class is open to dancers of all abilities with alternative adaptations being offered. Students should wear ballet slippers and form-fitting dancewear. Leotard and tights are ideal, but students may adjust their attire so that they are comfortable.What to wear to Adult Ballet: It is recommended to wear a leotard and tights, but wearing leggings, sweats, a fitted t-shirt or a tank is also ok if you feel more comfortable.
